Baseball Announcer Cliche’s

A great post over on the site Joe Sports Fan with his top 7 baseball announcer cliche’s. In an effort to entice you to head over and check the full post, here are the top 3.
3.) “Good teams find ways to win” - File this one away under “cliche’s that really don’t say anything at all”. Basically it’s the equivalent of saying “Good teams win a lot. Bad teams don’t.”
2.) “He plays the game the way it’s supposed to be played.” - Would not be applicable if a batter stroked a single and took off running to third base instead of first because that’s not how you play the game.
And the number one most overused cliche…
“That was a nice piece of hitting” - After I got done flawlessly typing this Top 7, I thought to myself “that was a nice piece of typing.”Sphere: Related Content
