This semester I am studying law in Hong Kong and the residence where I live receives a single English sports station. Given that we are 13 hours ahead of the East Coast while I am out here, the other day I come home from the gym, note that the English sports station is showing the Raptors v. Lakers game. After checking online, Raps were up at the half and it was a pretty normal game (minus the fact that the Raptors were actually winning). So instead of heading down to the common room where I could have caught the second half and what I only now know is still being debated as the “greatest performance of all time“, I decided to catch up on emailing friends and family. It was only later when I hit ESPN or any other sports site on the net that I realized the huge mistake I had made.
