So we had a really great turnout for our Joe Mauer versus Russell Martin poll and it seems that Mauer has won by an overwhelming majority. 63 to 27 which translates to a 70/30 advantage for Mr. Mauer. I can’t say that I disagree as Joe Mauer has a bat that just cannot be denied and he is such a good all around athlete that he will easily be able to transfer his skills to first base when the time comes. Plus how can you deny a catcher who wins a batting title, it is relatively unheard of.

So now we move on to our next challenge and we thought we would try something new this week. I will be writing a piece on Joba Chamerlain of the New York Yankees and arguing that he is undeniably a better fantasy player for you to nab now (even though I realize you have to pay for this guy) and Josh (who is certainly the more opinionated but also more knowledgeable baseball fan among the two of us) will be arguing for Max Scherzer of the Arizona Diamond Backs.
